Terms of Service

Welcome to Play Snake Online. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of playsnakeonline.com and the Play Snake Online Android app (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance and Eligibility
These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and Play Snake Online. By using the Service you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, or that a parent or guardian has consented on your behalf. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or guardian before making any purchase.
2. The Service
Play Snake Online is a multiplayer snake game, free to play, supported by advertising and optional purchases. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.
3. Accounts
Playing the Android app requires signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that Google account secure; anyone who can sign in as you can spend your coins.
One account per person. Do not share, sell or transfer your account. You may delete it at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account — this is permanent, erases your coins, rentals and statistics, and does not entitle you to a refund.
4. Advertising
The free version of the app shows ads, including optional rewarded videos that pay coins. Rewarded ads are limited to a small number per day. Attempting to defeat that limit — with emulators, automation, or falsified ad events — may result in coins being removed and the account being closed.
An active Aura subscription removes all ads.
5. Coins and Skins
5.1 Coins are not money
Coins are a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use a feature of the game. They are not currency, they have no cash value, and they cannot be redeemed, exchanged, refunded, sold, gifted or transferred to another player or account. You own no property right in them.
Coins can be earned by playing, by watching rewarded ads, or bought with real money. We may change how many coins an action pays, what items cost, and how coins are sold, at any time.
5.2 Skins are rented, not bought
Skins are rented for a fixed period — 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days or 30 days. When that period ends the skin stops being available and your snake returns to a skin you can use. Spending coins on a skin buys you that period of use and nothing more. It is not a permanent unlock, and rentals do not renew automatically.
The remaining time on every rental you hold is shown in the in-game store before you confirm any spend.
5.3 Availability
We may add, remove, re-price or re-tier skins. If a skin is withdrawn while you are renting it, your rental runs to its end.
6. Purchases and Refunds
Coin packs and the Aura subscription are sold through Google Play. Google is the seller; your payment details are handled entirely by Google and are never seen by us. All purchases are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
Refunds are handled by Google Play, under Google's refund policy. We cannot issue refunds directly. Where a purchase is refunded or charged back, we may remove the coins or entitlement it granted.
Coins are delivered to your account as soon as Google confirms the purchase. If a purchase is taken but the coins do not appear, reopen the app while connected to the internet — the purchase is retried automatically — and contact us if it still does not arrive.
7. Aura Subscription
- Auto-renewing. Aura is billed monthly through Google Play and renews automatically until you cancel.
- Cancel any time in Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep the benefits until the end of the period you already paid for.
- What it includes, while active: no ads, double coins from matches, exclusive skins, and a discount on rentals.
- When it ends, those benefits end with it. Exclusive skins stop being wearable and ads return. Coins you already earned are yours to keep.
- If a payment fails, Google gives a short grace period during which your benefits continue while you update your payment method. If it is not resolved, the subscription lapses.
- Prices may change; Google will notify you before any change affects you.
8. Fair Play
You agree not to:
- Use cheats, bots, scripts, modified clients or automation of any kind
- Tamper with, reverse-engineer or attempt to manipulate the game, its data or our servers
- Attempt to obtain coins, skins or a subscription other than by playing or paying for them
- Use a nickname that is offensive, hateful, or impersonates someone else
- Disrupt, overload or attack our infrastructure
- Harvest data about other players
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
We may remove improperly obtained coins or items, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Coins and rentals on a closed account are forfeited.
9. Intellectual Property
The game code, artwork, skins, audio, logos and text are owned by or licensed to Play Snake Online and protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
10. Your Content
The only content you provide is your nickname. By choosing one you confirm it is not offensive, unlawful, or infringing. We may refuse or reset any nickname.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service uses Google (Sign-In, AdMob, Play Billing), Ably, Turso and Vercel. Your use is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for their practices. See our Privacy Policy for what is shared with each.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 5, 6, 9, 13 and 14 survive termination.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLAY SNAKE ONLINE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited under the law where you live, including statutory consumer rights.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Play Snake Online and its operators from claims, damages, losses or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or breach of these Terms.
16. Children
Users under 13 must have parental consent. See our COPPA Notice. Parents who believe a child has made a purchase without permission should use Google Play's refund process and may contact us.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or a court of competent jurisdiction, except where your local law grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere. Where permitted, you waive participation in class actions.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Material changes affecting purchases or subscriptions will be made clear in the app before they take effect.
